I would urge WoWs to randomly select a number of clan leaders of active clans and ask, or poll them for their views and suggestions. Totally wrecking the command structure and giving powers to people with only a day in the clan. In looking at profiles and clans over the years I've seen clans that has 6 and as high as 10 Assistant Commanders and everyone else in the clan is a Recruiter. All Commanders would, of course, still have Invitation Issuing powers the same as Recruiters. There should be no more than 2 to 3 Recruiters as leads can be provided to them for follow up and issuing invitations. I would remove Battle Callers from Recruiter status and establish a Battle Caller position that only has the power to set up Divisions and start battles - no other power. I would like to see a structure that has a Clan Commander, Executive Officer, and Assistant (or Deputy) Clan Commanders with a maximum number set at 1 Clan Cmdr, 1 XO, and 2 or 3 Assistant Cmdrs. Perhaps these two radically-different selections be placed in the list such that they are not adjacent?Īs a former commander of 2 clans I have long felt that the Officer structure used by WoWs is poor. On the drop-down menu in port, the "Add to Blacklist" selection is right next to "Invite to Clan" and there is no confirmation menu ("Invite playerXYZ to clan?") - my clan has had multiple inadvertent invites go out in just this manner.and there is no way to retract such an invite (yes, one can just remove someone if they joined the clan after receiving such an invitation). Related to recruiting.the user interface is poor in this regard. There a reason that a player in a clan has to be a "recruiter" in order to form a division in clan battles? Why is the ability to invite people into the clan and/or accept requests to join the clan connected to the ability to press the "battle" button for a clan battle division? It would seem much more sensible to allow any member of the clan to form a clan battle division and launch it into battle, irrespective of their ability to invite people into the clan. ![]()
